Occasions by Emily began many years ago with a childhood dream. Living near Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina, Emily visited the regal chateau often and dreamed of galas, magnificent weddings and luxurious extravaganzas on the grounds.

Preparing for her future, Emily soon found herself on event planning committees at school and church. Her passion quickly led her to solo-planning special events for employment. Her careers in both nonprofit events and weddings give her the background necessary to make every event a success with the client's unique personality and wishes in mind.

Emily earned a BA in French from UNC Asheville and a Master of Public Affairs from Western Carolina University. As a student of culture and people, Emily enjoys multi-cultural events and traveling abroad.
